Preliminaries
This coursework is worth 40% of the overall module grade. The coursework has a total of 50 marks available. The deliverable of this piece of coursework is a complete web site consisting of at least 5 HTML pages that are styled with appropriate CSS. The files should be compliant to HMTL5 and CSS3 standards,
Requirements
Take care in reading the specification. You will be penalised if you fail to meet any of the requirements.

All pages must conform to the HTML5 standard.

All style sheets must conform to CSS3 standards.

All styling should be done in a separate style sheet.

You must not use any editor which assists in the creation of web pages, i.e. dreamweaver and similar are nor permitted.

Do not use any other technologies except HTML and CSS.

All images or text used in the deliverable should be appropriately referenced and copyright
should be obtained if you are using images.
Specification
You should design and implement a website consisting of at least 5 pages. You may chose any topic for your website which is appropriate according to the Universities policy on IT usage. In your website you should demonstrate an understanding of a range of HTML tags and an awareness of appropriate styling using CSS. For a minimum grade your website should:

contain a navigation system which allows for easy navigation between the pages of the website.

demonstrate an awareness of accessibility issues i.e. using alternative text in images
-
demonstrate an understanding of semantic web
-
make appropriate use of HTML elements
-
create appropriate content
Final Deliverables
You should submit the following:

A zip file containing all HTML, CSS and images/audio/video files used in your website

A design document in pdf format, containing the following:

✔ a wireframe model of the page layout

✔ details of the colour scheme and fonts

✔ a short description justifying your choice of layout

✔ an evaluation of your implementation justifying any changes between your
initial design and your implementation

✔ an outline of how you tested your website.

✔ any references that are required for the content you have used.
Submission

Your files must be submitted as a zip archive. No other format will be accepted. You should submit the zip archive via Minerva before the deadline. All submissions will be submitted to plagiarism detection software
